Concept
FEATHERED MICA
TRACE & NARRATIVE / 痕跡與敘事
A widely used trade name for a specific form of clinochlore, found exclusively in the Korshunovskoye iron skarn deposit in Eastern Siberia. Nowhere else on the planet produces this exact structural combination. The mineral is characterized by a deep forest-green matrix embedded with silvery mica inclusions. These fibrous inclusions radiate outward, generating a chatoyant effect that responds to the angle of light. The pattern is a direct, physical result of the mineral's monoclinic crystal system. Discovered relatively recently, its geographical isolation defines its existence. A complex intersection of iron, magnesium, and aluminum, resulting in a stone with a highly variable optical surface.
PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES / 物理特性
- Very soft mineral — keep strictly separated from other stones
- Avoid friction, impacts, and chemical cleaners
SYMBOLIC INDEX / 象徵體系
Heart | Anahata
Sagittarius, Taurus
PSYCHOLOGICAL PROJECTION / 心理投射
Reorganization — Pacing — Clarity
Moderates system overload. Re-establishes a sustainable operational speed when the environment becomes excessively fast.
SELECTOR'S NOTE / 選品手記
The dark green base is highly grounding, but the silver mica on the surface shimmers with the light, creating a dynamic effect. This characteristic of "static base, flowing surface" is excellent for adding depth to monochrome designs. It is recommended for individuals navigating rapidly changing environments who need to maintain their own steady pace.
