TRACE & NARRATIVE / 痕跡與敘事
In 1893, French chemist Henri Moissan discovered it in a meteorite crater in Arizona. Initially believed to be diamond, analysis revealed silicon carbide—an entirely different mineral.
Natural moissanite is extremely rare; virtually all on the market is synthetic, with mass production established in the 1990s. Mohs hardness 9.25—second only to diamond—and its dispersion, the splitting of light into spectral colour, exceeds diamond.
A mineral found inside a meteorite, reproduced in a laboratory. Material from space, brought to earth by human hands.
PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES / 物理特性

PSYCHOLOGICAL PROJECTION / 心理投射
Brilliance — Reciprocity — Return
Exceptional light-conversion efficiency — what enters comes back doubled. The material's physics mirror its principle: output proportional to input. What you put in is what returns.
SELECTOR'S NOTE / 選品手記
Input and return, cause and consequence — if he understands that equation physically, not just intellectually, this stone amplifies in a way that's calculable. Give more, get more, and the ratio stays legible. Without that self-awareness about what you're putting out, the amplification becomes difficult to manage. Handle accordingly.
